The Korean women’s hockey team will meet India in the quarter-finals of the Asian Champions Trophy. South Korea fell to a 0-5 defeat against India in the fifth pool match of the Asian Champions Trophy 2023 women’s hockey tournament in Ranchi, India, on Sunday (2 February).With two wins, one draw and two losses, South Korea finished fourth in the six-nation tournament and will face top-ranked India in the semi-finals on Thursday.

At last month’s Asian Games in Hangzhou, South Korea won the silver medal, China the gold and India the bronze. India is the highest-ranked team at No. 7 in the International Hockey Federation (FIH) world rankings, followed by China, Japan and South Korea at No. 10-12.
