The Wonju DB Promy of the Korean Professional Basketball League will look to make it two straight home wins when they host the Daegu KOGAS Pegasus in their third regular season game and second home game of the season.
DB will play its second home game of the 2024-2025 KCC Pro Basketball regular season against KOGAS at Wonju General Gymnasium 엔트리 파워사다리 on April 24 at 7 p.m.
In their opening home game on the 19th, DB got off to a great start with a cool 88-83 victory over the Seoul Samsung Thunder. DB jumped out to a comfortable 26-18 lead in the first quarter. Even in the fourth quarter, when Samsung came within a point of DB, back-to-back baskets by Robert Carter and Lee Sun Albano helped DB pull away, and with 2 minutes and 1 second left in the game, Albano again hit a three-pointer to seal the win, 82-76. The game ended with five players scoring in double figures, including Lee Sun Albano, Kim Jong-kyu, Robert Carter, and Chinanu Onuaku.
Riding the momentum of this opening win, DB will now set their sights on a second straight league victory and a second straight home win. The team’s last game against the Seoul SK Knights was a heartbreaking 72-77 loss on the road.
On the 24th, DB will face KOGAS, an opponent that DB beat 5-1 in six regular season games last season, so the team will be hoping for a win. KOGAS is currently in seventh place in the league with one loss.
After the game against KOGAS, DB will return home to face the Anyang Jungkwanjang Red Boosters at the Jungkwanjang Arena in Anyang on April 26th.
