KERSHAW SHAKES OFF SHOULDER INJURY , PITCHES 5 INNINGS OF 1-RUN BALL IN FIRST START IN 44 DAYS

Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw, 35, made a successful return to the mound in his first start in 44 days. Kershaw took the mound for the Los Angeles Dodgers against the Colorado Rockies in the 2023 Major League Baseball World Series at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Monday (Nov. 11).Kershaw pitched five innings, allowing three hits (one home run), striking out four and walking one .He threw 67 pitches, mixing in a four-seam fastball (26), slider (27), curve (11), and changeup (3). His fastball topped out at 148.4 kilometers per hour. He allowed one run on a fielder’s choice in the first inning but retired three batters, gave up a double in the second and struck out three.
