Just recently, Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries made an important announcement as it revealed who will be leading it forward from the position of President and CEO. The position will be assumed by Gerry Sul who already operated as acting President and CEO. The company is pleased with his performance and promoted him to the position permanently.
MLLC is responsible for overseeing legal gambling entertainment in the Province of Manitoba. The Crown corporation runs Club Regent Casino, McPhillips Station Casino and the only legal gaming platform in the province, PlayNow.com. It also distributes products of the Western Canada Lottery Corporation via its network of privately-owned lottery ticket retailers.

In a press release from MLLC, Board Chair Bonnie Mitchelson said that Mr. Sul was an experienced leader with plenty of expertise in the Crown’s lines of business. The chair added that the new CEO was trusted and recognized by employees through the corporation, and under his leadership, Manitoba could expect further growth in innovation and financial governance.
Mr. Sul joined MLLC in 2007 as Chief Information Officer and has served in several executive roles since then. He touts a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the University of Manitoba and has completed the Queen’s School of Business executive program, and the University of Nevada, Reno executive development program. He was also the Board Chair of the Western Canada Lotteries Corporation.
-MLLC Adds More VLTs
It should be mentioned that just over a year ago, MLLC inked a partnership agreement with International Game Technology. As per the terms of the contract, the global supplier of gambling products and games provided over 960 Cobalt™ 27 video lottery terminals to the province.
