Ahn Woo-jin to play in the All-Star Game as a recommended player…Moon Dong-joo and Noh Kyung-eun to play for the first time
The 26 players recommended by managers to participate in the Korea Baseball Organization’s All-Star Game at Sajik Stadium in Busan on May 15 have been revealed. Kiwoom ace Ahn Woo-jin was chosen by Kiwoom coach Hong Won-ki, who is leading the Nanum All-Stars, to participate in the ‘Feast of Stars’ for the second consecutive year. Hanwha’s Moon Dong-ju, the “160 kilometer per hour man,” was honored for his first appearance, while SSG’s Noh Kyung-eun was selected as an all-star for the first time in 21 years. Samsung’s Kang Min-ho was named to the All-Star team for the 14th time, passing Lee Jong-beom for second place on the all-time list.
