Tottenham are reportedly set to sign ‘captain’ Son Heung-min to a huge deal after his sensational form this season.
After British media outlet Football Insider reported on the 15th that the 31-year-old South Korean international is ready to entrust his long-term future to Tottenham, and Tottenham is also preparing a huge offer for him.
Son is already earning £190,000 a week at Tottenham and is the club’s highest-paid ace since the departure of Harry Kane.
The publication expects a new contract to include a weekly pay rise as a matter of course.
With left-back Destiny Udogie recently extending his contract at Tottenham until 2030, transfer market pundit Fabrizio Romano suggested that midfielder Pape Sarr could be next, with Football Insider reporting shortly afterwards that Son is pushing for a contract extension to ensure he finishes the rest of his career at Spurs.
Born in 1992, Son is 31 years old and has been in excellent form for Tottenham this year.
Since Kane’s departure to Bayern Munich, the right-footed, left-footed talent and composed finishing ability have been on full display, with a hat-trick against Burnley, a multi-goal performance against Arsenal, and a goal against Liverpool, and he has shown remarkable leadership from any position as the team has struggled with injuries to their main strikers and a five-match winless run before the West Ham game. 호텔카지노
Back-to-back wins turned things around, including a 4-1 thrashing at Newcastle with Heung-min Son returning to his natural position on the left wing, and a 2-0 clean sheet at Nottingham on the 16th despite being outnumbered by Yves Bissouma’s sending off.
After struggling with a series of fitness setbacks last season, including a facial and groin injury just before the World Cup, Son has been given the captain’s armband by Ange Postecoglou and has excelled regardless of position.
Heung-min’s humble, passionate, and dedicated approach to the game, including a goal and two assists against Newcastle, continues to energize the team.
He’s been on an insane run of form, scoring goals up top and dropping quality crosses into the back of the net from the wing.
He already has 10 goals and four assists in 17 Premier League games.
Thanks to Son, Tottenham are in fifth place with 33 points, four points behind leaders Liverpool (37) and one point behind fourth-place Man City (34).
