Ulsan City held an opening ceremony for the renovation of Mipoji Stadium in Dong-gu on the 3rd.Mipo-gu was completed in 2002 and was managed by Hyundai Mipo Shipbuilding after the clubhouse and two football fields, two tennis courts, one basketball court and one futsal court were built, but was returned to Ulsan City in June this year for free. After taking over the facility, the city began renovating it in September to make it more convenient for all citizens to use.

It replaced the natural grass pitch with artificial turf, rebuilt the track, including tennis, futsal and basketball courts, and toilets, and entrusted the Ulsan City Sports Association with the management of the facility. “We will continue to support the stadium so that it can once again be seen as a representative football spot in Ulsan,” said Ulsan Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom. The first match after the opening ceremony will be the opening match of the 2023 KFA Women’s Football Championship between Hyundai Cheongwoon Middle School 토토 and Daegu Sangwon Middle School.
